After writing a paper regarding my experiences with the NECC conversation and submitting it for review with http://conflictfieldresearch.colgate.edu/ (before I submit it for publication) I've spent a lot of time reading and recruiting. I didn't have interviews for 3 months which was disconcerting considering the limited time left for this stage of the research. I finally had interviews in July though, and the storied patterns of people's narratives seem to be echoing each other.
I've been slowly editing my transcriptions and only have 3 left. I've also been puttering at actually writing my dissertation but so far I haven't "committed" so to speak. I have an in-depth outline and miscellaneous scratchings here and there... so I better get to it!
